To solve the sealing problem of special application from end users, BRS company has introduced a compound labyrinth seal combined with magnetic seal technology. Based on the basis of bearing isolator technology, impregnated carbon graphite ring and permanent magnet block are combined to form a positive pressure seal barrier, which can completely block the pollution of external pollutants and prevent the leakage of lubrication. This design bearing isolator will not cause damage to the shaft also.The modified design can effectively solve some special working conditions that cannot be solved in general bearing isolator, such as:
1. The coal mine equipment with sudden immersion condition, which requires complete sealing and isolation of external flooded environment
2. The return capability of oil circulating system may be not efficient enough, resulting in the rising oil level in bearing housing
3. Forced lubrication, oil mist lubrication and oil and gas lubrication can't be effectively sealed because of internal pressure
4. Seal position due to continuous flushing, cooling, and insufficient installation space, the discharge capacity of standard structure bearing isolator is limited, which cannot cope with water or vapor intrusion
5. The material handled by the mixing and stirring equipment is volatile and requires a dynamic and static complete sealing system
